Krills (luminous crabs) appears in large squadrons in every ocean of the world, especially around the Antarctic. They mostly eat floral planktons.
As the fish oil, krill oil is also rich in omega-3 aliphatic acid, especially in DPA and EPA which ones are essential for human health.
Krill oil is more assimilatory for the human body than fish oil. Many people have problems with the assimilation of fish oil. For them krill oil can be a better choice.
Crab oil has lots of natural antioxidant and thereunder it has a high astaxanthin capacity. This is a red, water-soluble valonia which we can find in crabs, salmon and algae.
