What it is and where it is coming from

Tri-creatine malate is a compound molecule made up by creatine monohydrate and malic acid. As the name implies, three creatine molecules are attached to one malic acid molecule.

Tri-creatine malate is a white, odorless powder.

How does it work and what about the supporting studies?

Creatine monohydrate, one of the compounds of tri-creatine malate is extracted from glycine, arginine and methionine. It facilitates the production and circulation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which plays a key role in muscle contractions.1

It is proven that traditional creatine intake helps increase body mass2, lean body mass3,4,5,6, muscle strength7,8, aerobic endurance9,10,11, brain functions12 and general sports performance13,14,15,16,17,18.

Furthermore, creatine monohydrate enhances muscle torque and explosive power surprisingly efficiently; it also keeps testosterone levels high19 and prevents catabolism20,21. Plus, it can also be successfully applied to improve performance and body composition22.

Malic acid is an intermediate in the Krebs cycle; it plays a role in the energy supply of the body. When malic acid and creatine monohydrate are forming tri-creatine malate, the result is a substance of far better water solubility. This way, potential losses in the digestive tract are eliminated, and it can also join the ATP cycle much more efficiently. Furthermore, the bioavailability of tri-creatine malate is also better than that of creatine monohydrate.

Users of tri-creatine malate usually reported increasing endurance and better recovery after intense workout.

When is it necessary and what are the deficiency symptoms?

From a physiological point of view, the body doesn’t need tri-creatine malate, so there are no deficiency symptoms.

However, it can be really useful for bodybuilders. Men and women of all ages can enjoy all the benefits listed above, thus improving the quality of their lives.

How much should I take? Are there any side effects?

Strictly follow the dosage guidelines on the package.
